I am so excited about my new Yarn Retreat Series. It follows the amateur sleuthing of Casey Feldstein, who has recently relocated to Cadbury by the Sea, California. Her latest profession is working as a dessert chef at a local restaurant and baking muffins for the town's coffee spots. Everything changes when her aunt dies and Casey inherits her Yarn Retreat business.

So, what is a yarn retreat? Picture going off to a rustic and slightly creepy hotel and conference center on the tip of California's Monterey Peninsula. Fog rolls in and waves crash against a rocky shore. A group of yarn enthusiasts gather to spend a long weekend learning new things, getting to know new people and having lots of time to work on yarn projects while curled up in front a cozy fireplace.

And then the peace of weekend is marred by a murder.

Just like the Crochet Series, there are dead bodies, but everybody has a good time. And YARN TO GO features a knitting pattern for a simple scarf and a recipe for Casey's famous Heal the World with Chocolate Muffins.

And for fans of my Crochet Series, the eighth book FOR BETTER OR WORSTED comes out in November. But more about that later.

First in a New Series!

Dessert chef Casey Feldstein doesn't know a knitting needle from a crochet hook. But after her aunt dies unexpectedly leaving Casey to run her yarn retreat business, the sweets baker finds herself rising to the occasion - and trying to unravel a murder mystery.

A knitting pattern for Casey's first project and one of Casey's famous muffin recipes are included.

The latest adventures of
Molly Pink & The Tarzana Hookers

" I have done a lot of embarrassing things, but this morning I topped even myself... I watched as the detective walked out of the small blue stucco house. Everything about him gave off the vibe of somebody who'd been up all night chasing down evidence. His face featured a day-old beard, his tie was pulled loose from the collar of his pale blue dress shirt, and he gave out a weary sigh as he sauntered down the three steps to the front walk and moved toward the black Crown Victoria parked at the curb.
